Legacy

Trained as a cognitive neuroscientist in US, brought up in India; I embody the practicality of Western science and mysticism of Eastern mythologies. Moving across continents, I realized legacy was not money, but a way of being in the world. Grateful to the West for scientific vigor, and to the East for wisdom and embodiment of love. My legacy is the suffering of Buddha, the questioning of Greek, the cultures of Hindu, Islam and Sikh. My legacy is my mother’s smile, my father’s embrace,  my mentors’ enthusiasm for science, and my friends’ patience. That is what I shall pass on.
